Meaning of 9 dances

Dance is Body and Music is Mind. When both focus together, they touch the almighty. This is the meaning of "9 dances to teach".

First dance is about "Before Birth", in mother's tomb. Second dance is about Birth, when we see/hear world. Third is about learning, getting knowledge about world. The knowledge is out there, you only need to grab it with patience and commitment. Fourth is about using this knowledge to help others. In fifth dance, we encounter music that keeps world connected.

Nine dances to teach

A Pupil went to a dance Teacher and said, "Teacher, you are best dance teacher, you stay in oblivion, can you teach me your dances ?"

Teacher said, "I stay with my dances and I do not teach anyone, Go home".

But Pupil did not go home, he requested him again and again. Days passed and one day Teacher agreed.

Story of Love

A man fell in love with a woman. It was a love at first sight. He adored her, praised her, loved her a lot. It was a passionate love. But then he feared ... He would lose her, death may take her away.

Probably there was no reason, but he feared. So he found a way out. He started collecting moments, her moments. He bought a camera, photographed all her moments. What camera could not capture, he painted the pictures, pictures of lines on her face when she smiles, lines on her face when she gets happy, when she gets sad, yes, all her moments in pictures. He stored all in a big room.

Story of A Yogi

A man wanted to know the meaning of life. He was attracted to the ultimate secret. He wanted to be "free". He left all worldly desires and went along a path alone. Never ending physical pain, long hours of contemplation, eventually there was light, he experienced the world unfolding before himself, it was all so clear now, but then still he was not free, he was still an observer, very much in possession of his physical presence and identity !!

Music - 1

Hindu mythology say Life/Universe started with "Om" and will end with "Om". Sound, Music is so basic to us. Even in mother's tomb, a baby can listen to sounds though it may not be able to think, see or feel ! Possibly all these sounds (especially sound of mother's heartbeats) get hard-wired in our brains. So if your mother is religious, mostly temple, church, or mosque sounds would evoke deep feeling/emotions inside you - which you may not be able to explain !

Who am I - 6

As soon as we accept the idea of original self, many questions arise: How do I connect to or realise original self ? Is it eternal ? How do original self decide to take birth or death ? What does it do during our physical lifetime ? Are our original selves connected to each other ? Is it part of bigger original self ? Can original self take birth more than one like more than one of us part of one original self ?

Who am I - 5

In last part, we saw that we have our original self, separate but connected - though this connection not very apparent ! There are probably different ways to realise this connection. But let us try to see whether this idea of having a original self looks correct.

Who am I - 4

Human race is proceeding towards "distribution". Earlier we had kings, now we have multiple states, administration and so on. We had an idea of centralised computer, but now we have distributed architecture. Our focus has been towards splitting, separating the elements and every element handling and doing best. Even our knowledge is not at one place, but distributed. Internet is probably the result of this direction; Knowledge somewhere there, always accessible !

Who am I - 3

Mind is probably what distinguishes us from other beings. We certainly know that mind is a place where we are ourselves, so is it what we are ?

What's your rashee ? - my review

What's your rashee ? - A movie by Ashutosh Gowarikar

If you liked "Swades" for the way it is handled, you would certainly watch this movie. Ashotosh's movies always have certain mood, certain rhythm and certain pace which remain intact throughout the movie. And that makes Ashotosh's all 4 movies my favourites.

Who am I - 2

First way to answer this question is to accept immediate truth: I is what my physical existence is !

But physical existence has beginning and end. We "cease to exist" ! Though universal truth, deep down in our mind, none of us agree to it fully. Our consciousness don't allow us to accept it ! There comes next element in our line of thought, "consciousness" or "mind" !!

Who am I ?

Who am I ? Simplest, basic and oldest of all questions ! Remain unanswered till date ! You ever had the feeling after watching your favorite movie with full concentration, that our life is not movie, does it have end ? Is there any meaning to us ?

These are all flavors of same quesion: Who am I ?

Feel content, huh ?

Don't we all sometime feel content, happy ? Everything that happen seem to happen for good, we stop judging, we start "experiencing", we start knowing moment, events and above all observing it, is it ignorance, is it our connection with our maker or purely our physiological way overcoming stress/too much happiness ! :-)

Supremes continues ... part - 3

Supreme is a work of art, knowing each moment, knowing roots and causes, it is a study that never stops, it never stops to form principles, there are no laws or rules, it is about today, it is about space and time, it is not spiritual, it is not about material laws, it is not a scientific process, it is also not about unknowns or unexplained, it is always about knowing everything !

Supremes continued .. part - 2

Supremes are rare, they see everything, they know everything, they sense everything, but time is the boss, no one can beat time, so they wait and even time bows to them !

Supremes

Birth is that part of life which no one missed, death is that part of life which every one will reach, between these two lie purposes of our human existence, our purposes change, our focus shifts, in the race our meaning miss, between death and birth, there is sea,

After all what is life, ...

After all what is life, a path of memories, sometimes we see, sense that lay ahead, sometimes we don't, after all we have limited senses, but then there is always God, our guide to life, who keeps watch on us, He does
